Thanks for checking out my blog on coming back to play American Football after 10 years out of the game. This post is going to cover the second half of my pre-season training from week #6 up to week # 10 & how it I found it especially as I suffer from Fibromyalgia which I’m going to talk about in the post.   Well now we've got the intro part out of the way let’s get on with things shall we? 17 th May I woke up today & decided to do something I haven’t been able to do in years. I tried on one of my 3xl t-shirts & was amazed to find out that it wasn’t super skin-tight. This left me feeling amazing as it was clear both the football & gym were working.   Thanks for checking out my blog on coming back to play American Football after 10 years out of the game. This post is going to cover my 1st week training since 2011 up to week #5 & how it I found it especially as I suffer from Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as well as a few other issues. Well now we've got the intro part out of the way lets get on with things shall we ? Luckily for me I had some help in the form of Rachel & her son Dylan who both wanted me to get back to playing.  Today a nice package arrived with most of what I needed to be ready for Sunday’s session. I was borrowing a set of should...

It's been 3 years since I last wrote a blog & a lot has happened in my life. I'm in a much better place these days mentally than I was when I 1st started writing my blogs. I finally got out of the hell hole that was the sheltered housing I was in for nearly 3 years & am now in a secure flat of my own (with a housing association).  As I said things have changed for me over the last three years (well they have for lots of people due to that microscopic wanker Covid 19). I actually found lockdowns not too bad & came out of it rather unscathed, one of the most surprising things to come out of this was an opportunity to go back to something that was a huge part of my life that had been cruelly taken away from me.    I love American Football & have since I was about 6 & first saw it on the tv at my uncles house. Football was a massive part of my life for many years until 2011 when I came out as transgendered & had it all taken away by the vindic...
